I've been living living in MN for 30 years on and off and I guess I've seen it all lol.
I think I just grew into the whole community aspect with the people I know out there (many of whom are ex-Minnesotians) which is something I have never found in MN. I'm not talking about a scene or a club or group of people, but real communities that _DO_ things. Everything from burners to hackers. For example I really enjoy camping, bouldering, hiking etc, which is something no one I have ever known has enjoyed, in Seattle it was hard to keep the groups ofpeople down to a minimum. But it also goes into all the events that happen out there; many of which were the types of events I have never seen in MN.
Don't get me wrong, I really do love MN otherwise I wouldn't have been here for so long or keep coming back, its just that after going out into the world again for 9 months (haven't really traveled in about 6 years) I realized that things really were different in other places; but not just different but interesting or just totally new :)
LOL Okay, well at least you get paid for it. hehehe.... So bring a good movie with you, pop that in, pop some popcorn and watch that instead. How about, "The Nightmare Before Christmas?"
Okay is better than, BAD! And maybe no news is good news about your mom...or at least I hope that's the case. I don't blame you for not wanting to watch the videos. I can't see any way of getting motivated for that....unless you get paid for it. THAT is motivation. LOL Maybe you can sneak a good movie in the VCR instead...think anyone would notice?
