We were down for the day while we moved to another server.

We will have some downtime though the night I am guessing while we update the core site code.

Well I am finally back in the Seattle WA area after a 8 month stay in the ass of Minnesota.

I have been back in Seattle for about a week now with my friend who decided to come out to seattle to visit and see if he would want to move out here himself.

We have had a great time so far minus me getting a cold about 2 days ago but thankfully it has for the most part gone away.  We have done plenty of random things with various drinking and bars all over the WA area (Seattle, Georgetown, etc) and have been doing a pretty good job of meeting people this time.  The last time I was in this area I spent 99% of my time drunk and being an ass so hopefully this time things will be different :)

Well I have finally decided to move back to Seattle :)

I decided that I just can not deal iwth living in the midwest any longer (minnesota) and will have to just put effort this time into living out in the seattle area.  After living there for 8 months then then coming back to MN I finally realized what its like to have things to do.  Theres always a show going on, random club event, community events and tons of groups to be involved in!

I'll be moving at the end of the month and most likely living in my car for a few months (again).  I really don't want to get an apt and would perfer to urban camp while out there (living in a tent in someones yard) but so far no one has seemed to want to have someone living in their back yard lol

Sorry about not being around for the last 2 weeks folks.  I was on a vacation in the Utah desert for the last week and a half for some much needed R&R.

Heres a bit of a taste










It was a great trip with myself and 4 other friends.  Most of the trip consisted of sleeping in the middle of the desert and climbing though or up gulches, canyons, walls and having to treadge though 40 degree weather for sometimes hours at a time.

I will post more about this later, just wanted to give everyone a heads up that I am not MIA and I am still around.

O and there is another big site update happening soon.

We have a new logo that I added (tonight).

We will have 3 new banners added in the next day or two for people to use to promote the site! I might even run a contest to see who can get the most referrals in a 1 month period (with a cash prize!).

Just to give folks a heads up I'll be going back to Seattle in the spring, so roughly 10 weeks from now, give or take a few weeks.

 

The main reason I came back from Seattle was to get myself out of an anti-social streak I have been  in for the last few months (though it has been getting worse over the last few years) and needed to kind of pull back from life and reflect with what I had been doing, where I was and where I was going in life.  After coming back from my move to LA and then Seattle I realized that MN really has nothing to offer someone who is looking for more then just a relationship, marriage or a bar to drink in every night.  With the loss of 1/2 of the year to snow, 3/4 of the summer to spring there is really very little time life for entertainment, and when there is time for the entertainment there never seems to be anything to do (or anyone to do anything with).

I have also noticed that MN (or my past in MN) really brings out the worst in me.  Being out in cloud town I don't have to worry about all the b.s. that happens or has happend in mpls, but when ever I'm there or talking to people from there it just brings out the worst in me.

When I came back to MN I was really rushing towards the idea of buying a house, trying to find a girlfriend and to finally close my eyes to the world around me and be content with doing nothing with my life and getting very little enjoyment from anything in the outside world.  But while being in cloud I have realized that I'm still not ready to take the step needed to just lay down and die mentally and try to pretend like the world has destroyed me and anything good.

Will Seattle be any better?  It might. I had a blast while I was out there and had so many possibilities available to me that I didn't take advantage of or enjoy.  This was mainly due to just a bad 6 months of events and negativity that I just wouldn't let go of.  I all ready have many great friends out there; who granted have very busy lives and little time but that just means I'll have to try extra hard to find some new great people.

So while I am here in MN I will be trying to meet up with everyone at least a few more times.  I know there is 0% chance of anyone in MN coming to visit me in cloud town which I find amusing in so many ways; but I will try get get some weekend time with everyone.  I know not everyone can hang out on weekends (boda we will do a thursday or Monday) and it is becoming increasingly more difficult for me to want to even go to mpls; the last few times I have gone there I couldn't wait to leave.  But we will get together, eat food, drink, and have a bit of fun before I am gone for good.

Hi everyone.  This is a call to all those folks who are great with design and have a bit of free time on their hands.

 I am looking for someone who can do graphics that can come up with a better Darksiders logo.  This logo is displayed at the top of the page (every page).

I'm open to any ideas as long as its not cheezy

I am also looking for someone who can help come up with some decent banners so people can post them on their myspace, friendster, website or where ever to help show support for the site.  I will pay $5.00 per good banner :)

I would perfer to get around 5 banners (so $25.00 total if you designed 5 great banners).

I know I have talked with a few people about bugs, ideas and fixes over the last few days.  if you remember talking about me about this please post it here.  ATM I am very sick and I am having a difficult time navagating though messages and mail :)

I will also add more items as new fixes and features are thought up or fixed.
